Kokomo Athletics

The Kokomo golf team traveled to Marion Elks to take on a short-handed Giant squad and came away with a win. The Kats shot 167 compared to the Giants 235. The greens were tricky, and the guys overcame some bad holes on their way to their commanding win. Jack Verlee once again showed up big for the Kats with a 38 while Ashtyn Goff shot 41 after a triple on his second hole. Nathan Lay shot 43 and Canaan Horner rounded out the scoring with a 45. The Kats host the Northwestern Tigers Wednesday at KCC.
