On a windy night at KCC, the host Kats were six strokes better than the visiting Tigers. The Wildkats were a few shots behind Peru at the Logan Invite Saturday, so it was good to get some redemption in this dual match. Peru is also a sectional opponent. The Kats had all six golfers in the 40's led by Ashtyn Goff's 40. Mitchell McClelland and Nathan Lay both carded 41's, and Jack Verlee rounded out the scoring with a 44. Canaan Horner wasn't far behind with a 46, and Camden Whaley, playing in his first Varsity match, shot 48. Easton Douglas shot a solid 44 in the JV match. The Kats have the rest of the week off before returning to action Monday in a three-way against Lafayette Jeff and Tipton.
