Kokomo Athletics

The Wildkats traveled to Logansport Saturday to take part in the Logan Invite and came away with an 8th place finish out of 16 teams. The Kats were 19 strokes better than last year, and Sophomore Ashtyn Goff continues to make improvements in his game as he shot 81 today. Sophomore Nathan Lay shot 88, and Junior Jack Verlee overcame a rough back nine to shoot a 90. Verlee shot 53 on the front and roared back with and solid 37 on the front. Proud of his effort today. Also for the Kats were Canaan Horner and Mitchell McClelland (92). The Kats continue to get better and host Peru Thursday.
