The Kats held their own without their number two golfer, Ashtyn Goff, but ended up losing on a 5th golfer tiebreak. The Kats and North Central both shot 163, but the Kats 5th score was one stroke higher than the Panthers. The Kats were led tonight by a sizzling round from Junior Jack Verlee. He had a career night with a one-over par 36 on KCC's back nine. Mitchell McClelland had a 41, Andy McConnell 42, and both Canaan Horner and Nathan Lay had 44's on the night. Freshman Camden Whaley shot a 42 in the JV match! Way to go Kats. This was the Kats lowest posted score in the past four seasons! The Kats play in the Logan Invite Saturday.
