Varsity vs Muncie Central Our Kats pulled the brooms out of the closet for the first time this season with a 15-4 sweep on Muncie Central. The Kats are now 3-1 in the NCC. Brighton Harris pitched a strong four innings striking out four. Sophomore Landon Gibson made his first varsity appearance on the mound giving up a run and striking out two in the final inning to close out the game. Seniors Isaac Flamino and JJ Gillespie were on fire at the plate both going 2-2. Isaac had two doubles and a stolen base. Gillespie led the team in RBI’s with four. Ethan Merrell also had two hits in the game. Logan Dockemeyer, Brody Bagwell, and Miles Cunningham also had hits in the game. Dockemeyer was a menace on the base paths stealing two bases, the team had five total stolen bases. Next up is a Friday night showdown in the country at Lewis Cass!
