Varsity vs Eastern High School The Wildkats traveled to Chippendale Golf Course to take on the Eastern Comets. Even without their number one golfer coming into this year, the Kats came away with a victory 178-184. The Kats were led by Sophomore Ashtyn Goff's 39 which was his best score in competition. Freshman Andy McConnell overcame one bad hole to shoot 45, and both Jack Verlee and Canaan Horner shot 47. Jack hit the ball really well, and once he learns to manage the course, look out. It was their first match of the season, and Coach York was very pleased with how everyone did considering they've only had two full weeks of practice. I think the future is bright for these kids. The Kats host Frankfort and KCC Monday. Go Kats.
