Saturday, Jan. 31st vs. Roncalli, Westfield, and Shelbyville Beam - 9.35 (1st place!) Floor - 8.2 (no tumbling passes!) During the first meet of the season two weeks ago, Megan actually fractured her pinky. Due to this injury, she's been very limited in what she can do during practices. One positive, however, she was able to work on a new jump series on beam which paid off in a big way at today's meet. Last meet was rough on beam after the injury, so it was great to see Megan get out there today and have a beautiful no fall routine. The floor routine was different of course with no tumbling passes, but Megan has great poise, jumps, and leaps to still put together a nice performance. She's hoping to continue her recovery and gradually add more events as the season continues.
