Varsity vs Logansport (78 - 51) Kokomo earned a dominant 78–51 victory over Logansport on Thursday night at Memorial Gym, using a strong first half and a balanced scoring effort to pull away early and stay in control the rest of the way. The Wildkats shot 48.4% from the field and knocked down 10 three-pointers, while holding Logansport to just 38.1% shooting. Kokomo also won the rebounding battle 39–25, turning that advantage into consistent scoring opportunities. Korbyn Hammel led the way offensively with 23 points, finishing efficiently at the rim and from deep. DJ Nash added 13 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists, and helped keep the offense flowing, while Jamael Cosley and Erivon Burks each chipped in 10 points. Austin Moos contributed 8 points and grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds, anchoring Kokomo on the glass and providing second-chance opportunities. Defensively, Kokomo forced 19 turnovers, limited Logansport’s perimeter shooting, and turned stops into transition offense, allowing the Wildkats to steadily extend their lead in the second half and close out an impressive team win.
