Girls (86 - 52) Win Monday night our Lady Katfish hosted Manchester to secure their first win of the season! Meet highlights include first place finishes in the 200 Medley Relay (Maddie Armstrong, Shanna Fowler, Morgan Rakestraw, Clarissa Landrum), 200 Freestyle Relay (Gretchen Riggle, Morgan Rakestraw, Shanna Fowler, Alyssa Frederick), and the 400 Freestyle Relay (Clarissa Landrum, Gretchen Riggle, Maddie Armstrong, Alyssa Frederick). Individually, top finishes include quadruple winners; Morgan Rakestraw (50 Free & 100 Free), Shanna Fowler (100 Fly & 100 Breast), and triple winner Alyssa Frederick (200 Free & 500 Free). Other meet highlights include: Clarissa Landrum’s second place finish in the 50 Free, Gretchen Riggle’s incredible chasedown for second place finish in the 100 Free, and the completion of rookie swimmer Averie Stiner’s first meet! Our girls are beginning to get in the swing of things again! We had some great races last night and showed a ton of grit as we were down a few swimmers due to illness. Great team effort all around, incredibly pleased with everyone’s performance and energy on deck all night!! - Coach Whiteman
