Alaina Thompson and Morgan Rakestraw represented the Wildkats in the Brownsburg regional on Saturday and representef well. Alaina was first in for the Kats as she finished with a time of 21:17, which was an improvement on her time by about 50 seconds from last year at the regional. Alaina had a great sophomore season and has put herself in good position to keep growing and improving over the next couple years of her high school career. Senior Morgan Rakestraw finished her high school career at the regional as she finished with a time of 23:34. For Morgan this was an 18 second PR for her from. I am proud of Morgan for finishing her career strong, as it is always a great thing to end running your best. I am thankful to Morgan for all she has done for the team, as she has been a 3 year varsity runner and captain for our team. Her leadership, energy, and work ethic will be missed, but not forgotten.
