The Kokomo Lady Kats hosted the McCutcheon Lady Mavericks in a tough matchup Tuesday evening, falling 0–9. The Kats held strong through the first half, but McCutcheon’s relentless pressure and sharp finishing proved difficult to contain as the game wore on. In the midfield, Gisella Herrera, Mattie Rayl, and Euna Kim worked tirelessly to connect play and keep Kokomo pushing forward. On the defensive end, Eliana Gibson and Izzy Riggs anchored the back line with determination, battling wave after wave of Maverick attacks before McCutcheon eventually broke through with sustained possession and aggressive attacking play. Despite leaving the field bruised and battered, the Lady Kats showed resilience and unity. The team continues to focus on growth, keeping their heads high and striving to improve with every match. Kokomo will look to bounce back on the road Thursday night as they travel to take on Hamilton Heights.
