We traveled to the Ravines in West Lafayette and the course is named for what it looks like! It is a beautiful yet challenging course and the girls were up to the challenge! They played well and broke 200 for the first time on a course other than our home course, the country club! Mia shot her season low of 43 and missed medalist by 3 strokes. I am extremely proud of the girls' hard work and drive to improve. We are honored to be able to play all 10 in the Leaning Tree Invite to honor 9/11 at Grissom Thursday night. We are also getting ready for conference and sectional next Tuesday and Friday, respectively. Conference is at Brookshire and we are looking to face an extremely strong Richmond team, scoring in the 340s. Sectionals Friday is at Chippendale and we are hoping to improve on our Western Invite score and make a bid for regionals. We are still a very young team, with 1 Junior and 4 sophomores in our top 5.
