Kokomo Athletics

The Lady Kats raced at Northwestern Tuesday night and placed 3rd overall. The Kats were led by sophomore Alaina Thompson who placed runner up in the race with a PR of 13:06. Alaina ran a good race and was in great position the whole race. Morgan Rakestraw also finished in the top 10 as she placed 9th overall with a time of 14:42. Morgan ran well and is starting the season in a great spot. Other highlights were Christina Durham and Macy Rakestraw have strong races as we get our season under way. The Kats race this Saturday at Logansport in our first 5k of the season and we are excited to get our season underway. Go Kats! Coach Ousley
