Kokomo was supposed to go to Rock Hollow tonight but ended up at home due to a course conflict! (We won't complain. We love our home course!) KCC was gracious enough to open up the front 9 for us to play all 14 girls and Maconaquah's 5 they brought. We were able to pull out a win, even with Maconaquah's number 1 taking low medalist with a 40. Last year, our goal was to break 200 by mid-season and we achieved that goal. This year, we started below 200 in our first 9 hole match, still battling heat and humidity! I am so proud of these girls and how hard they work. They focus on the drills I lay out for them in practice and strive to get better each day. We are back in action Thursday at Lewis Cass, but will be missing a few of our top players due to National Honor Society inductions. We will play all the other 11 and get them more experience and improving scores.
