Lady Kats Battle Hard Against Experienced Zionsville Squad The Lady Kats fell 46–36 to an experienced Zionsville team, despite a strong start and plenty of fight throughout the night. The Kats led for nearly the entire first half before Zionsville took a slim lead in the final seconds, and fatigue set in during the second half. There were plenty of positives to build on, including 17 offensive rebounds, 11 steals, and keeping turnovers in the single digits. The team showed great composure handling Zionsville’s press and played together with energy and focus. Defensively, the Kats’ pressure forced 14 turnovers. Jhordyn Brown led the way with 12 points and 9 rebounds, while Satyra Scott added 8 points and 5 rebounds. Freshman Taniyah Jones chipped in 7 points and 6 rebounds, and Amara Stroman contributed 5 steals and 5 rebounds. The Lady Kats are back in action Tuesday night at home against West Lafayette.
